Browser-based processing

LocalTiny is designed to process image files directly in your browser. In this first version, image conversion and compression do not require uploading your files to a LocalTiny server.

Files you choose

Files selected in a tool are read by browser APIs on your device. Converted or compressed files are created as browser Blob objects and downloaded from your current session.

What we collect today

The first version does not include accounts, payments, a database, or hard-coded Google Analytics IDs. It does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, uploaded images, or converted output files.

LocalTiny can use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views and referrers, when analytics is enabled in production. Analytics events must not include image files, file names, converted output, or image content.

Future integrations

LocalTiny may later add Google Search Console verification or other privacy-conscious measurement. Those integrations should be documented here before they are enabled.

Browser and dependency limits

Some formats depend on browser support and client-side libraries. If a browser cannot decode a selected image type, the tool may show an error instead of sending the file to a server.
